A few more facts about Yoga:

Anyone can do Yoga; it's just a matter of starting at the appropriate level and remembering that you aren't competing with anyone. Yoga doesn't hurt; you go at your own pace, do what you enjoy, and stop before you feel pain. You can do as much or as little as you like; you may find you want to learn about meditation, chanting, and breathing techniques. However, you can always benefit from simply practicing the poses. If you are trying yoga for the first time, give it at least a month before deciding if you like it. It requires some time to become accustomed to the postures and really feel benefits. Yoga can help you relieve stress and manage your stress levels. Yoga is for both women and men; everyone can benefit from increasing their strength, body control, flexibility, and muscle tone.
